Examination Overview
The CTSD program consists of three examinations, one each in the three areas of discipline - Market Technology, Quantitative Finance and Trading Strategy. In order to receive the CTSD certification, a candidate must pass each of the exams, although in no particular order. Each of the exams will be offered twice a year in London.
Alternative Venues
The Certified Trading System Developer examinations are offered in London. However, arrangements may be made to sit for the examination at an alternate location. All requests for alternate test sites will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Retakes
Students may take up to two years to complete the examination after admission. The program fee permits a candidate to take each exam once. To retake any individual exam, an additional £75 must be remitted.
