Francis Breedon - Imperial College London
Francis Breedon is the Course Director for the MSc in Finance at Tanaka Business School. His main research interests are in foreign exchange and bond markets particularly in the area of market microstructure. He has direct experience of financial markets through his time at the Bank of England and at Lehman Brothers (where he still has a consulting role). Recently, he has been a research visitor at the European Central Bank and at the Central Bank of Iceland. He has also worked at the London and Chicago Business Schools.
Gerry Celaya - Redtower Asset Management
Gerry Celaya is chairman of Redtower Asset Management. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial markets, both as an analyst and as a proprietary trader. As chief strategist at Redtower Research, he provides strategic views to banks and funds across the globe, including many central banks. Mr. Celaya previously worked at American Express Bank and Bank of America where he helped to run management trading portfolios as well as his own proprietary trading book. Gerry has been a professional technical analyst since 1986. He is a past Director of the Society of Technical Analysts and is a member of the Society of Business Economists.

Kristjan Kasikov - Citigroup
Kristjan Kasikov is a Vice President and member of the CitiFX Quantitative Investor Solutions group. Mr Kasikov informs European asset managers in quantitative FX alpha generation and optimal hedging strategies. He has a background in FX modeling from the Calyon Corporate & Investment Bank, where he worked as a Currency Strategist with quantitative focus and the Cardinal Global Macro Fund, where he was responsible for developing FX spot and volatility trading models. Mr Kasikov holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the Tallinn Technical University in Estonia and a MSc Economics degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Xavier Porterfield - FX Concepts
Xavier Porterfield joined FX Concepts in March 1998 to help promote the firm's research business. Currently he has responsibility for research advisory sales globally and provides technical trading strategies for clients in Europe and the US. Prior to joining FX Concepts Xavier worked for IDEA Global in London on their Emerging Markets research sales team after spending a couple years baking bread in Paris. He holds a history degree from the University of Kent at Canterbury. He is currently a level 2 candidate in the CFA program.
Paul Tolman - Beta-Gamma Research
Following a PhD in Mathematical Physics from Cambridge, Beta-Gamma's founder, Dr Paul Tolman, has specialized in building mathematical models of the financial markets, with an emphasis on market forecasting and portfolio construction. He has experience across many traded products, and particular expertise in foreign exchange. Prior to starting up Beta-Gamma Research he was Head of Quantitative Trading at Royal Bank of Scotland Financial Markets.
